I like to wander and leave myself open to experiences, often using photography as a means to hold on to images that might otherwise be lost. From this I try to capture in paint the essence of the moment. I find exciting things in the most pedestrian of places, just for the curiosity of looking. Sometimes, the camera catches surprising glimpses that I wasn’t even aware of

Art in the Pen is an annual art and craft fair held at Skipton Auction Mart. It brings together emerging and established artists, giving visitors the chance to discover original artwork, meet its creators and buy pieces directly from them.
